We aim to provide healthy and nutritious meals whilst meeting the dietary requirements of all our children. This may include children suffering from allergies, requiring a diet free from gluten or dairy to being a vegetarian.
We have trained cooks with years of experience at each of our nurseries who freshly prepare the children’s meals on a daily basis and ensure that the children gain both nutrition and enjoyment out of meal times!
We hold regular open evenings inviting parents into the kitchen to sample the meals given to the children. This was very successful and the parents were full of praise for the information and support they were provided with on the night.
We are lucky to have published our very own nursery cookbook! This is available to all our parents.
Each business is given a 'hygiene rating' when inspected by a food safety officer from the business's local authority. The hygiene rating shows how closely the business meets the requirements of food hygiene law. The top rating of '5' means that the business was found to have 'very good' hygiene standards.
On a recent visit by a food safety officer we were graded the highest rating of 5.
Mrs Colson says, ‘So far we have tried the Tuna Kedgeree, Meat Balls and Chicken Fajitas, all of which were excellent and resulted in a full set of empty plates!’
