Little Holcombe & Tower View

The babies start off in the Baby Room where they stay until they start walking at which point they progress to Tiny Tots.

Within our safe and secure environment, the babies and toddlers are encouraged to develop and learn at their own pace. The dedicated and committed staff are aware of each child’s individual needs and capabilities and carefully plan each day’s activities to cover all aspects of the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’.

Within our nursery there is plenty of space for physical development and our equipment ranges from baby gyms, play mats and activity centres, progressing on to trucks, small climbing frames and of course the peek a boo tunnel! Our adjoining, cosy sleeping areas in the baby room and tiny tots allow our little ones to sleep in peace whenever they require some rest from all that playing!

In the baby room we begin to introduce creative activities which include painting of all different kinds, water play, sticking with different materials, play dough, flour play (Mixed with water and food colouring) and jelly play for tactile development.

At Little Holcombe Nursery, we firmly believe that children learn through an abundance of play and discovery, which in return creates independence and confidence which equips each child for the next step on the road of development.
